04 Wagon folding seat stuck! Help!
Hey guys just purchased a 2004 e320 wagon for the wife, got a good deal on just slowly working out some kinks here and there to ensure longivity, I went out the other day to fold the rear seats down, the passenger side will fold down but the driver side aka the 60% part will not fold down. It seems like a cable or linkage is disconnected. Is there a way to manually unlock the seat so I can gain access to the mechanism? I'm nervous to tear the leather up. I went on star to veiw breakdown, but I need to get the seat down. Has anyone else delt with this? Thanks in advance!

I had the same issue with my car when purchased. If you have the cargo cover/dog net thing installed, you can not lower the driver's side until you lower the passenger side (and leave it down). Felt pretty stupid when I figured it out....

I had the same issue on my W210 Wagon, the fuel level sensor was also bust and to get to it the seats had to be removed, however to remove them you have to fold them down.
I could never get them down therefore never knew how much fuel was in the car LOL

My problem is that the latch on the driver side is broken and the passenger side latch doesn't seem to work.
I was able to peel the driver side trunk panel far enough back to get to the shock strut. I ended up cutting the shock out anyway. I still have to install the passenger side shock and hoping that I can peel that panel away enough as well.
