E500 Chrome Exhaust Tips are available!

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to pass on the info concerning chrome exhaust tips. I know there was several threads in the past concerning this subject. I just ordered my set last night from [URL=http://www.performanceproducts.com]. The tips are currently on backorder, they will be receiving 120 sets on May 22. I was informed they already sold almost 50 sets, so if your interested get your name on the list. The tips are not the quads, they are the oval shaped tips. They are selling for $200.

if we just buy the tip.. do we have to make modification on our rear bumper? or we can just put it with our stock bumper?

Yup.... Ordered mine on April 29th..

I just checked the order status and the status advised me that I should expect to receive the order on May 29th. Time will tell.

I just talked to a guy at Performance Products. My question was how they get the tip to point out the back when the stock exhaust kinda points down at the ground. He said they supply some sort of flange that has about a 45 degree angle that should do the trick. I think these might look good. I look forward to someone posting pics and install experiences. thanks!
