I've used the Mercedes leather cleaner and conditioner exclusively and it's worked very well (made by Meguiar's). It's about $15 at the dealer. Apply by hand (massage into leather) and wipe dry with a cotton towel (old ones work best).
For the dash, just water on a cloth, wipe clean and towel dry immediately. I don't typically use any conditioner on the dash or other vinyl/rubber surfaces. If your dash looks dry/aged, you can try Aerospace 303 Protectant. It's a great conditioner/UV protectant and it's non-glossy.
A tip for those of us in the salt belt - if you have those nasty crusty salt stains on the carpet after the winter, here is the best method I've used to get rid of them. Boil water in a kettle. Remove all mats. Transfer water from kettle to a large measuring cup. Have a wet vac ready, I use a small shop vac with the filter bags removed. A 'Little Green' machine will work well also. Pour the very hot water on the stains. Be generous. Vacuum the water immediately. Repeat if necessary. To dry use a hair dryer, or take the car for a drive with no mats and the heat on, directed to the floor. It's amazing how well this works, it also removes a lot of dirt.
It's great spring cleaning the car after winter, it looks so nice. Which of course reminds me of how dirty it has been all winter and I think about California with all that nice weather and you guys posting pictures of your pristine cars and garages...

Lexol vinylex, cleaner, & conditioner is good enough for me. I use the vinyles like water on s2k convertible top. With the MB, it doesnt have much leather besides the steering wheel and shift knob. I just used a damp cloths to cleans seats, dash, seats. I was also thinking about vinylexing all the seats too for cleaning and adding uv protection. What you guys think? Is it needed? I also used a custom shade, so my dash is hardly in the hot beating sun.

i usually go with either the lexol or meguiars leather cleaner/conditioner. you want to spray it on a cloth and wipe it on, then use the clean side to "buff it off". should be good after that.

Just wanted to point out that a lot of people with MB-Tex surfaces use Woolite diluted 10:1. MB-Tex is an artificial material. You can use 303 aerospace protectant or some other water based product afterwards for added look and protection.

Woolite? Really? I just use a little soapy water, then rinse with clean water and dry.
I'd be interested to hear what other MB-Tex owners use. It's getting time for my semi-annual detailing.

Hey since you guys are talking about cleaning I have some questions. Sorry if I'm hijacking your thread.
What's leather and what's vinyl?
I know my car has leather package. So I know the seats, the wavy part of the door, and the door arm rest is leather. What else is leather?
It's the rest of the stuff I'm not sure what it is. Like the harder parts of the door above the wavy leather part and below the arm rest they feel like vinyl. The dash and center console I assume is vinyl.
My car is a 2005 E320 CDI with the butterfly center console.
I just use Armor All products.

Vinyles by lexol can be used to clean and condition our MB-Tex, my question I am not sure if MB-Tex actually ever needs conditioning..... I just always wipe it down with a damp cloth once a month or so
