To clarify... Service C.. What is it (2009 E350)
Not super clear on this. I am planning on changing the oil and filter (Via topside) and visually inspect the belts and fluids.
Maybe I am being slow, but if someone can clear this up for me, I would greatly appreciate it. Maybe we are all just being overly paranoid???
Thanks in advance... You pay good money for such a nice car, and just want to right by it.
Basically ALL services are A or B .. when it shows any other letter, something else is due and if you look at that sheet, it will tell you what.
Items are either by mileage OR time .. so you can drive 500 miles/yr and still have to do the service items due to time elapsed.
Also if you bought the car used then have the dealer print out the VMI so you have the records of what was done previously. It appears that your FSS was probably reset out of cycle (maybe a service or oil change was done early, etc..)
Don't forget to change the brake fluid at 20k or 2 years. It's in the maintenance schedule (although kind of hidden since it says "check brake fluid' and later down it says 'replace.') If you check and moisture content seems okay (if you have a tester or some strips), I'd still change it out anyway. It's supposed to be done 2/20.
Also if you have a pano, then do the 'pano service' (cleaning out the drain plugs.) That will help down the road and keep it from squeaking.
Your car requires what your maintenance booklet says it needs at the mileage you have. You'll note you'll never see "Service C" in your maintenance booklet. (This for USA)
Thanks for the info!

Since service is at 10k intervals, it's easy to remember and so I don't even pay much attention to the FFS reminder stuff on the IC display, and just note the odo mileage instead.....
