I officially HATE SBC...worst brake system EVER!
The car brakes fine, but I keep getting the annoying "BRAKE - Visit Workshop" message on my display ( not the red but the lesser black/white one ). At first I was told that it was the brake switch, no luck. Then I was told that it was the pads and sensors. I also changed them with no luck. Then I took it to the dealer to see if they would warranty the SBC and they said it was my pressure reservoir ( which I saw on the scanner that there was a code for the reservoir ). So, I changed the pressure reservoir and it STILL gives me the message.
The odd this is that the car brakes PERFECTLY. It just keeps giving the annoying error.

My recent codes have been the following:
SBC Controller=
C2230 (6230) ESP Electronic Stability Program Control
C2210 (6210) ABS Anti-Lock Braking System Control
C3211 (7211) DTR:The CAN Communication Of The Engine Control Module Is Faulty
This is with my Autoenginuity Scanner. I can't get these codes to go away no matter how hard I try to erase them.
Anyone have any other ideas?

So far I have the airmatic clunk in the trunk noise, the fuel smell when I fill her up, SBC and TPMS are giving me trouble and now Comand is giving me issues. Anything else? And I've already fixed some of the other issues the car has had...all this in 4 months of ownership.

If you can't get mb USA to replace then you can either replace on your own dime or get a flashing tool (not das) that will reset that internal counter.
I have one of those tools if you're interested in purchasing it. I bought it for my old w211 but ended up traded it in for my new w212.

contacted my local MB dealer and they said they need to diagnose it and see if SBS is the cause and that's $230.

Shut it off and waited a few minutes and then all was fine. Think its the SBC Pump going.
