What did you do for your W211 today?

Ford dealer had no clue how to deal with Mercedes and even less how to deal with diesel and sold very good car very cheap.
Gotta love those Mustang buyers.
Nice blurr BTW.

...most control units pass but DCM-FR found a stored code, TELE-AID is intentionally disabled (analog system).

Mirror heaters, huh? Is there a fuse or relay I can pull? I've never used mirror heaters to best of recollection. Same door also triggers a machine-gun locking fit too on rare occasion, wonder if control unit swap is in future.

I experienced they come with rear defogger, but that could change on different models.
Open the mirror and check for damaged wires.

Latest generation do have automatic fold programmed on car computer, option you car might or not have.
re-installed freshly painted all black bumper, no more chrome or ashy black fog light trim.
installed new lower mesh grille.
installed new bumper bracket that hold fender liner to bumper... low life struggles...
rocked no bumper for 2 weeks. it was worth the wait....
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

First time from 15 years I took wife wagon to dealer for alignment this spring and after holding it for 3 days they still screw it.
I just measured it with my oldfashion scale to have big negative toe, not to mention that steering wheel was off the center.
No wonder front tires are bold on inner side, still having good thread on the center.
On the Bluetec the mechanics did several hundreds $$ of actual damages. Kinked intercooler hose that leak, ruptured oring put on air system, bend fuel line clip that killed the engine on Mojave freeway. ...
... I am still discovering new and new "gems"..

I was chatting with my Indy, and stated for the breakaway type of mirrors are better, the folding type is more to repair...So in short I prefer the breakaways!! Just Food for Thought
New front rotors, pads, and sensors
Painted the front caliper bracket w/ black caliper paint
New front calipers (while changing the pads I discovered the boot was torn on the right side caliper so I replaced both of them)
New brake lines all around
Of course, new brake fluid. Used 3 quarts to do the proper SBC programming and bleeding with Xentry.
I'm in shock of how much better the brakes feel with these new items; wouldn't think it would be so great since it's brake by wire. The SBC pump kicks on far less now as well.
I used all genuine MB parts since I got employee discount here at work.
