2008 E350 Sport
Zaino'd and conditioned the rubber last week. Tranny flush, brake system flush, and air filter ($900 at the dealer) today. Skipped the $645 rim to replace the slightly bent one that is causing the vibration I brought the car in for, because the winter rims and snows will be going on soon. I'll buy a used rim or have this one straightened while the snows are on. A little over a month left on the factory warranty; another decision ahead.

Don't feel too bad, my son (now 6) is far more careful than my wife with the cars. I have 3!!! small dings on my rear left door where she opens the X5's door and has hit me there while in the garage. So pissed since the black just announces the dents like it was neon.

Full service at 50k miles (80k km) oil change, brake fluid change, tranny flush, new front brake pads, 2 new front tires with old front ones swapped to rear, full front end alignment, new V belt.
She is off in a container on Monday to go across to Perth in Western Australia as we are relocating 2200 miles cross country for a new job.
I would drive but because its quite remote and there are lots of wildlife hazards at night, it takes around 4 or 5 days and I don't have the spare time.

'08 E-280 S211
Final stage of winter prep. During the last two weeks the E280 has:
New 17" Pirelli winter tyres on 5 twin-spoke rims
Fully washed, sealed and waxed the rims inside out
Snow foamed (just love this stuff), handwashed sealed and double waxed the entire car.
Cleaned the inside of the car
Still needs:
Leather cleaner and conditioner
Must!! Polish the tailpipes. Just noticed they aee the only dirty part left on car. Any advice here anyone. I have the factory 08 dual pipes (sport package)
Last. Sme nano stuff for windows. Have bought some OEM stuff at local store. Will post experience.

Had my SBC replaced (with 90K on the odo) for free at the dealer, which was the reason I was getting the "Service Brake - Visit Workshop" message.
Dealer was kind enough to tell me that I needed to do my valve cover gasket, spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, transmission fluid, coolant, rear brake pads/rotors, and windshield wipers, and that it could all be done for about $3400. Funny thing is that I had the valve cover gasket done a few months ago at an indy shop. I changed the spark plugs and air filter recently too. And the rest of the stuff were on my to-do-list.
