help needed e55 amg

hi first i would like to say hello to everyone on the forum.

i got my first e55amg this year 2003 reg, i love the car but this week the battery died , so a got a new one , still no joy. so i took the alterantor off had it tested and put a new alternator regulator. its working fine, 14 voltes ,still no joy.. ahhhhhhhhhhhh, so then i book it into my local garage. i just rung them and they are pulling there hair out.. all batterys have been changed , oh one more thing they tested the voltage to the battrey and it tested 14 volte, but the it keeps cutting off the voltage , one minute its ok the next its not..????

Could be the battery control module. Post this in the W211 AMG section for more help.

thanks i will. i think i know whats going no.. from cold the battery reads 14 . when the car warm it reads 11.5.. the alternator could be breaking down when its hotter ....? or would the battery control module do this. ?

sorry and does anyone know how to do the voltage check from in the car . is it key turn to 1. and press reset bottom 3 times.? or something else..?

how about taking it to an indy shop that specializes in MB?

i did and they are lost too. ??? i was just talking to my pal that works in mb uk. and he told me they might have to reset the ecu ..? not being funny but its all giving me the hump..
