Replacement Key

I searched but was not successful so hopefully someone on here can help me. I need a new key since mine seems to work intermittently. I have Keyless Go and the dealerships around here want $320 for a new one. I remember that someone on here was able to get them for much less. Can someone point me in the right direction?

$320? I guess I was lucky that the car broker that I was dealing with ordered me a spare (w/keyless go) for about $200 from Mercedes.

$200 is definitely a good price. If I can get anywhere near that then I would pull the trigger. Does anybody have a connection?

Does it have a battery? New?

How do you know it is the key and not something else?

Before I put down $$$ for a key I would make sure the key is the real problem.

It's definitely the key. I tried two different sets of brand new batteries. I think it may have gotten wet.

Unfortunately, the dealer is your only option.
