Back with a benz
All I wanna say is, I am so excited to be back in the Mercedes community. About 2 years ago, I drove a 2003 e500, and I loved it. For some spur of the moment reason, I decided to get a 2004 Jaguar XJR. It was amazingly fast and classy, untill the jaguar, started to act...well...like a jaguar. I ended up changing the suspension, rebuilding the transmission, and finally my bearing broke so I was out of the driving game for 10 months, and on my subway game. Not bashing on Jag at all, I love their cars, but all of this made me remember how my 2003 e500, EVEN WITH 105,000 miles endured thru my driving style. All i had to change was some ABS brakes or pump, and it was covered by some sort of lifetime warranty?
To get back to my point I just bought a 2008 e550 4matic and can't wait to have it delivered to my home. Only pics i have of it are off this site

idk if its cool to post a link?
But anyway lesson learned. There really is a reason mercedes is top notch in their game. It is the first car after all

Thanks in advance
I am in Aventura, FL. I wish they would have never moved because I'd like to use them to service my cars, but Doral is to far away now. Hallandale was 3 miles from me. The head of the service dept. there is a great guy.
Congrats!
I am actually shopping W211s right now (just Internet so far, haven't done a test drive yet), and had a question about 4matic. Is it full-time AWD or is it rear-drive until slip is detected?
Rolex11- hahaha I know what you mean by the no bargaining price. I actually went to see the car in Doral, while im down here in Florida. What won me over was how clean the car was. The sales person really let me know about every minor ding here and there, and to be honest I would overlook all of them. Most wouldn't even mention them.
jwoods986- I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it is full time awd
