2008 E350 HVAC problem

First time user here. I have HVAC problem as follows. Cab not cooling properly/enough. All controls set for max cold. Passenger side vents blow cool. Drivers side vents blow warm. Went to the dealer. They said first problem is low refridgerant charge.... added 2 lbs R134. Next problem, motor that shuts off hot water to drivers side malfunction...we'll have the part here in about a week. I shell out $ 463.27 too take the car home.
3 hrs later, in the heat of the day the AC shuts itself off. I turn it back on. The "on" indicator lite flashes 5 times and goes out. 8:00 pm...Ambient outside temp bout 5 degrees C. cooler... Ac turns on OK. passenger vents blow very cold, drivers vents blow cool. I'm thinkin refridgerant is overcharged. I'm kind of accepting the hot water shutoff motor malfunction for a later date. Anyone... comments Tks Allen

The system holds just over two pounds of refrigerant. If the system is that low on refrigerant the compressor will not operate. If the system was inadequately cooling and two pounds of refrigerant was added, then it is possible the system is overcharged. It's also possible less than two pounds was added and you were charged for two pounds.

Water control valve is a individual problem Fix it first, then continue with a/c issues.

Big 10-4 on that. My opening discussion with the service writer went pretty much unheeded by the tech. Just did his own thing with A/C first and now I seem to have A/C problems as well as hot water shut off problems. U think it's likely that overcharge would cause system to shutdown on excessive highside pressure when outside ambient is high??? Say 25 deg. C. ... not that 25 deg. C. is very high. Anything else that would cause shutdown like that?? I drove it again this morning... outside ambient about 16 deg.C. A/C stayed on and near to freeze your fingers over the passenger side vents. Tks. Allen
