I would love to be able to do that but don't know how. I'm not computer illiterate but I've just never put together my own web space (and don't know how). I have a photo site where I post photos but they limit your size like here. I'd be glad to do what you ask if you could tell me how. (I've got a few more views also)

Looks good but the headlamp has a strange yellow color to it. Makes it look very odd. Otherwise, great!

I colored them in with Photo Shop 7.

Nice shot of yours. Do you have chrome headlight rings ordered?

Yet another of mine done today.

Yes I did-additional $750.00. (Dealer wanted $ 1,250.00 at first). Might be a little less from other shops, but too many horror stories about service from aftermarket chrome jobs, when something goes wrong.

Not the question. Have you ordered chrome headlight rings? They would look great with the chrome wheels. I ordered some last week.

The xenon looks yellow is maybe because he just turn on his headlamp, it will turn blue as soon as the xenon warm up, i think

I'd previously asked if he paid extra for the chrome wheels. Don't think he caught the question about headlamp rings. I would never pay anything from factory chrome rims. You can spend less money for better wheels that aren't the same ones you see on every other E on the road. Plus, many factory units don't look good chromed.

ffejalink, couldn't agree with you more! Most factory chrome rims are crap.

Hey ffejalink and alewifebp; are you taking cheapshots at me?!

You are allowed to state your opinions, but I think you are afraid to be direct. I think that makes you a coward.

I like the way the Factory Chromed Wheels look on my car. It's consistent with the other chrome trim.

You not liking it means absolutely nothing to me.

STKLAW: Considering those chrome-headlight rings; saw them on ebay for $70.00-is that where you ordered?

No, I ordered from performance products I think. They were $90. I looked on ebay but couldn't find them.

No, that is why I said *most*. I did not mean any offense. To each his own, but my personal opinion is that if you are going to get a rim, and spend good money on them, it pays to get something that stands out. True enough, rims like the Lowenhart LD-1 is overdone, and won't stand out as much, just like a lot of the factory rims. But with the hundreds of different rim styles, it really can make your car stand out.

And, i do have to be honest. I will most likely be keeping the standard sport rims on for a while or maybe even the entire term of the lease.

My comments were more pointed towards the cheaper variants of chrome rims that I have seen on countless cars, my current brand of car included. When you take the standard rim and just dip it in chrome, it looses something. Quite honestly, I have not seen the factory chromes on the E up close, so I can't comment about that variant. If I were to get the factory chrome rims on my Lexus, they look hideous, and seem low quality.

Truce?
