My new Wheels..at last!
Today, after a loooong wait..a month and a day, an arm and a leg in charges, thanks to our ****e customs and clearing agents here, I finally took delivery of my new wheels..million thanks to Vassili!
Have a bit of an issue clearing the grease cap on the fronts with the wheel centre caps, but apart from that, all ok!

New Wheels @ last!
Nice! those wheels look clean. I finally got new wheels too, ive been waiting since 2007! long time coming. I got 20'' and have noticed much slower acceleration from 0-60 
. It is the same speed from a rolling start but I guess it is harder to get the wheels to start spinning from a stop.

Ride quality
honestly there is not too much of a difference in ride comfort but there are differences in feel. I do notice less responsive handling characteristics. It feels almost like slight steering lag. The ride quality itself is different in that the road feels numb compared to the stock 17"s with Bridgestone potenza re760 sport tires. This surprised me actually, I was expecting the ride to be more abrasive with larger wheels but its the opposite.

To be honest, at least on our "roads", if they could be privileged enough to be named as such, they've all but ruined the car.
The ride is unGodly harsh! The car is rattling and crashing!
I had to change them because the old AMG 2 pieces..well..they stayed true to their name..they literally became 2 pieces..LOL!
I cant go to 17's or 18's because of the brakes!
Running Michelin PS2's 235/35-19 and 295/30-19.

Best Tires I have used
I replaced the tires OEM wheels 5,000 miles before I bought these new wheels. Stupid me right? I replaced the stock continental tires with Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Summer sport tires and absolutely loved them. They were hands down the best tires I have ever driven on. Granted they were only 17's but the difference between the Bridgestones, the 18" pirelli's and Michelin PS2s on my dads car and the orignal continentals on my car was night and day. The Bridgestones were literally silent and felt like riding on a pillow. In the corners they were awesome, and in the rain even better! I wish i could have put them on my new wheels but they were almost $400 more expensive than the Hankooks.

In the Ultra High Performance All Season category, we are delighted with the Continental DWS (18", OE size). The car glides quietly, but hangs on tenaciously in the wet. The difference on the day we changed from the OE ContiProContact was dramatic for noise reduction. My wife does not drive aggressively (it's her car), but the handling capability exceeds her needs.

Interesting point about the PS2's.
Unfortunately, i've been using only these ever since I made the swap to 19's.
Reason being mainly due to the various Porsche dealerships that had initially come up here.
I was told one of their prerequisites with their oem suppliers was to have ready stock of their commonly used tire sizes..235/35-19 for the Boxster front, 265/35-19 for the rears and the 295/315/30-19's for the 911's.
I digress because as a result of this they were much cheaper to buy than any other brand - how does $3,000 for a set of tires sound??
