Squeak Emanating from behind Gauge Cluster Plastic Oval Ring
Has anyone had this squeak on bad roads, or even turns with body flex, emanating from behind the grey plastic decorative oval molding found directly in front of the lens of the Speedometer / Gauge Cluster?
If I grab it with my hand and push on it, it make the same squeaking noise I hear when going over uneven roads, etc. I asked the dealer to look at it when it was still in warranty and they made it worse. I would love to wrap the back side (facing the interior of the dashboard itself) of the oval area with an adhesive felt or something. My problem is I do not see how to pull this ring off? The reset knob perturbs through it as well.
Can anyone tell me how to remove this piece so I do not break it by trying the incorrect way. Does it just pull straight back and do it in a quick abrupt motion, or is there some other method?
Anyone else suffer with this problem? I am motivated to fix this, the squeaking drives me nuts

Carefully unclip cover by pulling gently backwards until it disengages at top latching hooks – check your PM.

I had the car in the shop so yet to perform this, but I received the instructions on how to do it from konigstiger.
Will let you know, this week I hope to attack it. PM me if you need the guide I can forward it.

Can you please send me directs too, I need to get the front gauge window for the speedometer and clean it because of some build up residue from some cleaning chemical from carwash.
