couple of questions

does anyone know if the 07-09 rear bumpers will fit on pre face lift years (03-06)?

and

are all the rear impact strips interchangeable for non amg and amg rear bumpers?

Yes the bumper will definatly fit and not sure about impact strip

so i called the dealer looking for moldings because most bumpers are sold without the moldings

dealer said they dont make a 55 in 03... idk this may be true, but he said that not all w211 rear amg bumpers are the same and he needed the vin of the car to look parts up, but i dont have a vin he seemed real short and lazy if you ask me just didnt seem interested in looking up the part #

does anyone know part numbers for rear amg bumper 03-06? or can anyone verify the bumpers being different?

He is lying. I used my E500 strips on my E55 bumper....

So will the impact strips off my 320 fit?

the center piece seems to share the same part number does anyone know about the side pieces?

I'm fairly sure if your car is a 02-06 model the impact strips will fit the E55 bumper.

However i'm not 100% sure. I'm installing my E55 bumper this weekend so ill be able to tell you then

Yea I was looking and the parts number for the center piece matched but I was having trouble finding the side pieces so I couldn't find a part number for the amg rear to compare it with...

The strips from an 03-06 bumper will fit the E55 bumper.

07-09 bumpers have the strips built in. And if you have parktronic sensors, you will need to buy the mounting hardware to retrofit the old sensor to the newer style bumper.
