It's actually pretty classy. And yeah, it came in a very well packaged box (sent via FedEx Ground, in my case).

I took delivery in November 2002 and I didn't get one. It's only been almost 8 months. I guess MB is busy!

It sounds like monakh just got the blanket..maybe there is still hope for those who were left out. Ray, Matt, brian and whoever else got left out...there is still hope

I did get a key ring a few months ago. Don't use it and probably won't use the blanket, but don't want to get left out:p

Thumbs up Random *****

I haven't gotten a blanket, but I have gotten the following random stuff in the mail from MB:

A VERY nice polo-type shirt (I think it was for referring another MBWorld-er to my dealer/salesman); (MB Dealer Store value=$70.)

A VERY nice windbreaker type jacket (I think it was the "bribe," or rather the "payoff" for giving my salesman our two blank evals); (MB Dealer Store value=$100.)

A tri-star mercedes silver-colored keychain (MB Dealer Store value=$12 or $15.)

I have NO idea why they sent the keychain. It was one I remember looking at at the dealership, my salesperson *may* have noticed, but I don't think so. However, it is still the only connection I can make. Ed, does this sound like the one they sent you?

Not too bad, I don't feel hurt about not getting a blanket.

Mercedes = Class!

Yes, that does sound like the same key chain. It is a really nice key chain, but too heavy for me. I got a couple of leather ones from the dealer when I picked up the car and really prefer them as they are not bulky or heavy.

I WANT my blankey (sp?) Waaaaa

Did the car just come that way (with the wood wheel)?
Did you ask for it?

If not was that something your dealer did?

I assume you didn't have it on your original 03E.

Yup.
My dealer said no to but am trying to get him to swap it for the 6 CD Changer which I only got because of the original spec. on the NAV system
