So long MB World...

Even though our E500 only had 49k miles, it was 7.5 years old so it's time to move on. We did buy another German car, but hopefully this one is more reliable.

Here's our beloved E500 on the last day before she was transported to CA...

We welcome our new addition...

Absolutely gorgeous. A more than worthy replacement.

Love the yellow. Seems a little too "audi" inside...

It's beautiful. Congratulations from another Porsche owner!! Once Porsche decided to get rid of the badly designed intermediate shaft, they now have a more reliable engine. Best of luck with it!!

Hope to see you on the Porsche forums.

Regards,
paul...

Porsche 911 > Mercedes E500 all day. I love the 211 but the early ones were issues. Hopefully the Porsche treats you well. Our Cayman was fine when we had it on lease.

Thanks fellas. This makes me feel a little easier about buying first year model 991. The one "major" issue w/ the E500 was the air shock, it was pricey to replace @ $1300. The car only had 34k miles on it at the time. Other than that, it's not that bad, but then it only has 49k miles on it.

A I understand it, no other car manufacturer tests its new models as much as Porsche before release.
