Power steering

I flushed the power steering fluid because I thought it would help tighten my steering. It helped a bit but my left side feels wobly and doesn't feel like it is in sync with the right passenger side wheel. All joints are new and everything is tight lifted on jacks. Question is do I need to flush again? I did it myself by the disconnecting the inflow to the resivour and cycling the fluid with the engine on - I didn't turn the steering with the engine on tho. Could I have missed that fluid stuck in there? The old fluid was dirty yellow. I replaced with pensotin(?) green mb.

Or is my rack gone?

Thanks!

I always cycle the wheel on my truck to flush the PS to get fluid out of both sides of the cylinders. If the pistons are designed with a small bleed through hole it would eventually flush. I don't think this is your problem but next time have someone cycle the steering L/R enough to hold pressure on the wheel and clear oil.
