E55 rear bumper and exhaust finally completed

Finally yesterday completed the E55 rear bumper and exhaust, I had the exhaust sitting in my garage for over a year and the bumper for a couple months, I'm very happy with the results a side from the mufflers not been loud at all, is hard for me to tell the difference between stock and the E55.*

I'm thinking about gutting out the OEM E55 resonator.*

Stock

Chop out the mufflers and just have the tips there, i've done it to my E270CDI and it sounds fantastic, really nice deep note and when the turbo kicks in, it sounds great!

Cool, I'm going to start by removing the resonator then if I'm not happy will go your route, the only thing I'm worry about removing the mufflers completely is the alightment of the tips, it will take the shop a lot of dedication to get it right.

True, with the AMG style tips i got they had both of the tips joined and aligned so it was easier for the shop to align them.

You could always get the shop to cull the insides of the muffler leaving the outside intact.

Looks good. Was the car previously in a wreck or something? The "E320" and "CDI" emblems don't look aligned in their normal positions.

Nah, it may look a little different because I have the 07' up trunk finisher.

the finisher doesn't look like it has anything to do with it, looks like someone stuck your emblems on in the wrong spot!
