will a w211 licence late holder from 07-09 fit a 2003 e500?

will a w211 licence late holder from 07-09 fit a 2003 e500?

I am getting a 07-09 licence plate holder. will it fit my 03? I am tired of getting no front plate tickets in los angeles!

the general shape of the bumper in that area is basically identical; you may have to position it to get just the right fit but I dont see why it wouldn't work.

there is a bigger curb in to the 07-09, it may not fit flush

07 was body style change, much more angular bumper. Look for one from 03-06

Actually that area is where the two bumpers couldn't be more different. The '03-06 is rounded while the '07-09 sticks out farther and is angular... or pointed, as it were.

That's true. The point on the 07s> is so great that the front license plate has to be bent vertically to screw down to the plate mount. The 03 - 06s do not. The plate mounts flat & unbent.
