Battery terminal in engine bay

is there a battery connection in the engine bay?

No battery connection in engine bay. To jump start you need to jump the battery in the trunk. Always connect the positive cable first then the negative cable.

I have pos and neg jump points in my engine bay.
Neg is on the wheel arch on pass side and pos is on the firewall in a box.
Check your Manual.

There is a battery in the engine bay, but it is the auxiliary battery so if you see anything in regards to it don't think it can be used for jump starting or the like - it is also vital for brake performance. The only battery you should interface with is the one in the trunk under the removable carpet cover.

Remember not all cars are the same. Not even all MBs. Not even all 211 body E-class cars. You've got a wagon, the sedan model does not have jump start poles at the engine bay like the wagon.
