PLASTI DIP Matte Blk W211 E350 Grill
Just wanted to share with fellow members, So today I finally Plasti Dip my E350 Grill. It very easy and simple, any one can do it. The best thing is, it CHEAP!
I'm leaving it over night so it have a lot of time to dry out, I'll continue tomorrow with peeling the masking tape off. Will post the finishing product soon, thanks.

Pep Boys SUCK!
The Grill is Dry, I was gonna install it back to the car but then I was reading some members post. Saying that Plasti Dip attract dirt and is hard to clean it. If you wash your car and spray it with pressure water, it might peel the plasti off. So, what I did today is that. I spray over a light coat of clear finish to make it more durable, smooth surface so dirt won't stick to the rubber. I will install it tomorrow and will post up picture for ya.
I have another issue today, So I finally got the wheels in today. I Has to special order for Mercedes since it has some wheel hub issue. Any way, I was so anxious to put them on, so I went to discount tires but they close at 6pm. I has no choice to stop by Pep Boys for installation and balance. This crazy kid put it on and some how he bust one of my tires.... as you can see, I'm so freaking ****. Now I have to wait another week for the new tires.
Another Project I'm doing since my Damn tires is screw up, Oh well...Caliper Paint any ones?

Damn WTF how does that happen to the tire. I have never seen that before in my life.
Cant wait to see what color you do the brakes. My e350 is sienna black sun light it looks purple and in gauge light its like a mocha brown metallic. I was thinking silver or yellow for the brakes since the factory AMG wheels are getting powder coated gun metal.

wow what an idiot to bust the tire like that. He clamped the wheel backwards to mount it to avoid scratching the face, but the tire doesn't have enough room to be stretched on to with it upside down.

you probably didn't clean the chrome very well, you have to clean it good or use alcohol to get all the oil out. It shouldn't be bubble if you clean well. Yes, you have to give it time to dry before you applying any more coat.

I did my grill using plasti dip as well i ended up taking it off i hate how it attracted dirt and how rough it was... did the clear coat make it any smoother and somewhat more dirt resistant?

YUP! NO dirt attract, just did a light coat over it and you're GOOOD! if is NOT smooth, then you need to spray more plasti-diip. To be honest with you, I spray like 10 coats of plastic dip or maybe more.
