Pzev fuel tank replacement issues
Hey,
I have a 2007 e350 and my damn fuel pump has failed. I'm in Cali and the car has the sealed Pzev fuel tank. HELP!! That sucker is 2k plus installation! Has anyone attempted/succeeded in swapping a "non-Pzev" fuel tank and components in place of the sealed one? My car has just run out on the CPO warranty, but has 70k miles so I think it's still under the Pzev emissions warranty. Anyone got the dealer to replace theirs under this warranty? I'm going to the dealer later this week to see if they will do a "goodwill" replacement but that's a maybe. Anyone, any ideas?
