My 09 has the "amg" style package with the bumper, is this actually the same bumper they used on the 03-07 e55 amgs? I'm trying to find a reasonably priced front lip spoiler to go on it. Does anyone have any recommendations?? Please help.

The shape is identical to the '07-'09 E63's, but they have the brake cooling ducts on the side which the AMG package doesn't.

'03-'06 AMG (E55 and AMG kit) bumper shape is different.

Is this a true story? Does that mean any lip available for the 2007-2009 E63 bumper will fit 2009 E350 AMG Sport bumpers?

No worries... now you can go out and buy one. You guys must live somewhere where it's pancake flat, because I scrape the bottom of my front spoiler every once in a while and I can't imagine putting a lip on in and making it another inch lower!

SoCal's flat for the most part. As long as I'm not out in DTLA or KTown I'm good. I've been angling all my cars up and down driveways and getting honked at for doing so, so I'm used to it.

Do you know if there's a Carlsson style lip for the facelifted bumpers? I'm not diggin that pointy sharp snow plow looking lip that everyone has on their E63 bumpers.

Got me all excited. Just confirmed with Gary@Suvneer that the shape is different for the two bumpers.

I'm not sure which two bumpers you're talking about, but if you're talking about the '07-'09 AMG Sport versus the '07-'09 E63 bumper cover, they're exactly the same shape, the only difference being the two brake vents on the side of the E63 bumper cover.

I know this for a fact because I just installed an E63 bumper cover and we had an AMG Sport bumper cover to compare to. Additionally, if you look on the Mercedes EPC software you'll see that ALL the parts that go with either bumper cover are the same.

He is selling an aftermarket, not OEM bumper cover, so THAT might be different... but the two OEM's are exactly the same shape.

I don't know what bumper you are referring to but these two bumpers are not even remotely the same:

There are differences around the fog lights, forgot to mention that, but what he's asking about is will a lip fit either, and that portion of the bumper cover is exactly the same, as evidenced by that picture. The lower form-fitting foam structure pieces that install behind the bumper are exactly the same part numbers with both. I was going to put a carbon lip on my car, and we looked at it on both the E63 and AMG Sport bumper covers, and it fit both, but for me it took too much ground clearance so I decided against it.

I think irondad is right, obviously, there are differences between the two bumpers (fog light surround, the grill placements, brake ducts). But I think the bottom of the two bumpers do look very similar.

Yes it would be awesome if they made a CF front lip for our 07-09 E-350 amg sport front bumpers. I believe they would sell very fast.

One can claim that CF lip for '07-'09 E63 fits "AMG" bumper of '07-'09 E350/E550 only if it was actually tried successfully. We tried this and E63 does not fit "AMG" bumper correctly. Had it fit, Garry would have sold a ton (literally). Do you know how many "AMG" bumper 07-09 E-class owners want one? Many more than were actually sold for E63s. Could never understand why "they" made one for E63 cars as well as non-"AMG" bumper E350/550, but not for "AMG" bumper E350/E550.
