2003 E500 Motor Mounts

I have a 2003 E500 that I feel requires new motor mounts and tranny mount... Car just shakes at idle and a small vibrate when going from stop. But I noticed that a lot of the sites for aftermarket mounts have 2 different types with 2 different chassis for the exact same year. Now I already purchased a set online and it is going in the shop this Wednesday to be replaced. How can I tell if I got the right ones or not?

Beware you have to pull the exhaust to change them. I hired someone to do it but then maybe you dont have as much gray hair as I do.

06 S211 E500 4Matic
I do not know about 03, but changing engine mounts on an 06 E500 4-Matic is probably one of the easiest DIYs out there (No pulling exhaust or anything of that sort). Jack up the engine a little bit. Undo 2 bolts: one bottom, one top. Out with the old, in with the new. Make sure mounts align properly, there is a mark on one side, suggest using a buddy to help you guide it. Took me and my friend under 1 hour to do the job.

thank you all for the responses... it has 131,000 miles on it... runs really nice minus the excessive vibrations at stop... when in gear... when in neutral the idle goes up and not that bad.. but when in drive its so frustrating... especially with the air conditioner... ugh

WOW!!!!! I got the new motor mounts and tranny mounts installed.... They failed... The one was compressed and the other was completely broken in 2.... It's like a new car... no more vibration... I can't even tell the engine is running... can't even tell the ac kicks in when you turn it on... completely different feel... I would highly suggest getting them put in if you feel heavy vibration when you stop... And I would also do all 3 as well... 2 front motor mounts and one tranny mount... Took the mechanic less than 3 hours to do... its so worth it.... Like a brand new car off the lot...
