New NAV People - Need Favor w/MP3
I've inquired in other threads without luck... Can anyone with the new NAV confirm that attaching their MP3 player (Ipod) to the jack in the glove compartment and using the AUX feature on the stereo works? Mine doesn't... Thanks to all.

I simply ran a cable from the "headphone out" jack on my laptop to the input jack in the glove compartment. Within COMAND you set the input to AUX (hit the Audio button a couple of times and click the appropriate softkey to select). Everything I played on the laptop then fed through to my car's speakers.
The sound was awesome. Volume control was through COMAND while MP3 selection was done on the laptop. I'm assuming this works with any device that has a headphone jack, ie. portable CD player, etc.

I don't have an IPOD but I managed to play MP3s through my new NAV COMAND using my laptop. It's a little overkill, but it worked great.

Is there an auxillary plug in the glove box for 03 non-Nav E Class? And if so will it play an mp3 player?
