![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Has anyone installed this accessory on the E yet.? I have seen a set and on a black car they look awesome.
I am curious how they are installed. If they can be done by the owner or the expensive per hour tech at the dealers. If anyone has a jpeg handy please send along.
Thanks.
Derek.

Thanks so much for the shots.........they do look great. Now you need the light rings for the 4 fronts to complete the mission.
I presume these are in two pieces as I am trying to visually figure out how these slide in.........are they plastic or metal ?
Thanks again.

gross
And most of you guys think the Lorinser kit is too crazy looking ?Haha
It looks like some of you have been to Autozone too many times.Atlanta500 your the pinstripe guy right? I don't know what to say.Do what you want, but this is one "mod" that gets a big thumbs down.Something that belongs on a Toyota Camry or an American piece of junk, definetly not a German performance/luxury sedan

Lorinser-
What can I say........one mans taste......I guess Tony Montana and I have the lavish taste and some like to doll their Benz up with Mesh and duals. Either way we all have great cars and I for one am glad that we can make our machines unique in style.
My other Lexus SC430 has no modifications as there are none offered. All of them look the same.
As far as the Pinstripes.......hey, all that have seen them like them including the dealer who did a thumbs down when I asked for them and now lo and behold has some already done on his lot.

OK Lorinser you are off the hook.
Being an EX NYC kid born and bruised on the streets on 1st Ave I can understand the mentality. I have spent 25 years down here down the terror act on the locals.
You ride looks fine.............Amazingly free of dings and folks trying to rip the extras off. How bout sending this boy some real bagels?

Lorinser- On second thought go to the local AUTOZONE and at least amuse me and try a roll of silver pinstripe tape. You may even like it on the 500 and have it done professionally. If you like it you don't have to tell me............afterall , as you said you want me to see your point of view.
Send me your email and I will send you a jpeg of the stripes on my Obsidian Black kiddo. Send my best to Vinnie, he stand on the corner of Mulberry St. I miss the city and its food and folks.
