I Have A Dessicated Frog In My Tail Light
Somehow a small frog made its way into the tail light of my 2005 W211 and died there. The manual says the unit is sealed and should be taken to a dealer for any servicing. Obviously the unit can't be sealed that well if a frog got in there and I'd hate to take it to the dealer just for this.
Before I start taking the inner trunk panels off to get to the tail light, I thought I'd broach the subject here to see what I might be getting myself into.
What's the deal?

the board that holds all the bulbs can be removed from the light with a few bolts... depending on which area of the light it is in will determine how difficult it's going to be to fish it out but i dont see if being a problem to get him out

This is a very odd coincidence! We just sold a BMW the other day that had a dried up frog in the tail light! We just removed the bulb and went in with a flexible grabber thingy and plucked it out! Good luck!
