Pre-NAV price

Today while waiting on my car to be serviced for it's KG problem (they are PUZZLED and have no clue =), I took a walk on the pre-owned lot. There it was.. MY Pre-NAV car.. My plates were still on it.

I inquired to it's price........

$57,900.

The sticker when I took delivery was 60,162 or something (not counting the NAV I pre-paid).

Just FYI.

Maybe they will advertise it as 'OWNED BY NITROSHREDDER' to get the extra bucks on a celeb pre-owned car

second-hand info in the NYC area has the turn-ins being priced at sticker-minus-$6k, so the 57 probably has built in maneuvering room for the dealer.

let's face it - everybody feels better if they get the guy to move off his/her initial price, so just as when people do budgeting exercises they *over*estimate, I think that to deal with human nature most sticker/asking prices are *over* what the seller wants, to build in negotiating room

MY GOD!!!! HOW DID YOU GUYS KNOW?????

The purchase price is NON-negoitable, and includes FREE Membership to MBWorld.org (with EXCLUSIVE email @Nitroshredder.com), a DVD of the GTech runs, your very own GTech pro... and if you act now... we'll even throw in a V8 badge AND a Type R badge for the trunk lid!!!!

All for the AMAZING low price of $57,900.00 US DOLLARS!!!

And for the first 10 callers.. a guest appearance on the weekly television program "G-Teching your E500...Nitroshredder style"

Anyone for a top 10 list now?

Mine was apprasied, with the options shown below (minus the NAV but with at least the Lo-Jack and Perma-Plate) at $47,000. Oh, and 5,900 miles...

I'd like to see what they're selling it for.

The jacked up price is there primarily to allow the sales person to give a potential buyer big bucks on his trade in. Somehow it keeps sales taxes down in some states by increasing the basis so it results in a win-win situation.

Chris, I'd guess at least $60k or so. Since you have quite a few more options that I did.
