Battery dead - keyless go not working
Car sat in the garage much too long, so battery totally dead. Charger brought it back to life, but now several features are not working: Keyless go start-stop button, (have to use the key in ignition), door locks (except when car starts moving), Command screen is intermittent, (GPS & audio),
Is there a reset? Have never had this problem. Purchased the Benz trickle charger now...after the horse is out of the barn! Main battery is new, but front (auxiliary) battery is original, think it need replacing.

I can't answer your questions. However, I had the same result re the keyless go and doors when I disconnected my battery for about an hour. Never found the solution, so curious to follow this thread.
Here's my thread from back in October : https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...isconnect.html

thanks for your comment...
I visited with a MB tech yesterday. We concluded the front "auxiliary" battery was probably in need of replacement since it was original. The main rear battery had been replaced in 2009. Car starts now with the FOB key in the ignition, but door locks do not work with FOB or the exterior black door lock button. GPS & audio on the command screen are working normally.
Will have the front battery analyzed when I get to the dealer...160 miles away...weather permitting next week!

320 mile roundtrip ! Wouldn't it be more cost effective just to buy a new aux battery, since it's 9 years old and probably not much life left. If you got 18mpg and pd $4.29/gal, it would cost you $76.00 in gas, + dealer labor charge, not to mention the hrs on the road.
I'd go with a Deka AGM @ $76 delivered, ETX14, 1 yr warranty : http://www.bohannonbattery.com/html/deka/etx14.html

Thank you for the tip and information...
I need to be in the cities anyway, so it will work out...IF the car will run there.
Always receive excellent service, so look forward to the trip...weather permitting...does not sound great!

Fixed
My 2015 CLS battery died and caused the keylessgo to stop working. Turns out it was the battery under the hood on its way out. Replaced the battery and fixed it along with several other electrical issues that were intermittent! Pretty excited considering it only cost $160 and 15 minutes
