High beam bulb install question

I am replacing the h7 high beam bulbs on my 07 e350, I am having a world of time getting the passenger bulb back in as there is very little room on that side. Is there a trick to the tab alignment I can't seem to get it to click back in
Thanks ahead of time

Look at the tab and check with light the location in the housing. Then it only takes about 1/8 turn to lock it in. You may be trying too hard.

You will know you were successful when you have light out the housing in front and blood on your hands.

You are so right, it's such a vague feeling that you never know if it's in right or now, I finally go it in and I have blood, cuts and dents in my forearm. I don't have pre teen arms so it sucked! Too bad they aren't as easy as the H11 fogs!!
Thanks for reponding!

Be sure to check the rubber dust cover. I had one fall off into the bottom pan. If it falls off you can get dirt into the housing and won't be able to get it out. I thought I had lost my boot and bought an extra then when I pulled the belly pan found it. I had an extra until I bought a new car then threw out the old part.
