Smoke it if you got it!

I did this myself in a few hours for under $20. Here's how.

Oh my... looks VERY sweet... I want to smoke mine too.. but i'm scared to do it myself... don't want to mess up or anything...
anyone know any place in irvine area that does it? and how much does it usually cost?

The lights are definitely less bright but at night they are still very bright. In bright sunshine the difference is more noticeable. There's a site www.smokedlamps.com that is somewhere in CA.

My car is Capri blue.

Hmm it looks black to me in this picture

its probably the lighting - a cloud had to just go over you

That's what I love about the color. In overcast light and at night it looks black. In fairly bright light it is blue and with the sun beaming down on it there's a purplish hue. More pics on the E55 forum.

Tomorrow I pick up the Renntech spoiler and a week or so before the Lorinser CL grille to be painted the body color. I will not change the wheels because I like the stock AMG split spokes. On Sept 13 I will drive the car at Sebring road course.
