Bulb Type - Front Parking/Standing Light

Hi everyone. My front right bulb is out. I've tried searching all the Benz forums, and Google'd every relevant search term. I've checked the manual too.

I cannot find the bulb type/number. Does anyone know the bulb type/number.

I'm looking for the standard bulb (not looking for matching Xenon or PIAA whatever bulbs)

Thanks.

Are you talking about the city lights or the sidemarker lights? I believe the city lights are H7s.

It's got to be the city lights. On the car display it's noted as the "parking light" being out.

It's the smaller oval head lamp next to the main headlight. The bulb is different than the H7.

Thanks so much.

My recommendation is contacting AZNOptics on the forum, he is a vendor that supplies high quality city lights that are CANBUS LEDs so they can color match to be whiter (5000k) or bluer (8000k) and he will be able to get you all of the information you need. Let me look back at some conversations I've had with him to see if he mentions the bulb type because I remember asking him...

Thanks so much AMG. I'll contact AZNOptics too from my end. Thanks for helping for something as small as... A light bulb.

I've searched the owner's manual 3 times now. I can't find specs on light bulbs. It gives you the instruction on changing bulbs, but no notation on bulb types.

The park light uses bulb size 2825, according to sylvania's site. I replaced mines with leds and they look awesome. But you can go to your local autozone and pick up regular bulbs for it. Install is as simple as turning it and pulling out the bulb, replacing, then re-inserting it.

Replacing Parking Bulb in CLS550a

Replacing this bulb is a PIA.....my hand is too big to get in there so I gingerly used a pair of needle nose pliers. Take the cap off to enter the High Beam compartment. Take out the high beam and move it to the side. In the bottom cavity you will see where the parking bulb is - if you can get your fingers in there and move up and dow to pull out do it. It will pulll right out, dont turn clockwise or counter clockwise. Replace in the opposite step.

Good luck
