96 SL 500 05 E 500
e500 would not start.
Upon returning to car from restaurant, car would crank but not start. After 30 minutes it fired up and ran fine. It seemed as though the fuel pump was not engaged until my last failed attempt at starting. As I turned the key back after the last failed attempt it sounded like the pump engaged. I then successfully started it. Any imput will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

^ ditto, but to be sure, have codes checked at Mercedes indie shop. The CPS is located at top rear of engine. Took me about 15 minutes to remove and install a new one in my E500.
