What do you need to do, to get a E320 to 300 horsepower?

What do you need to do, to get a E320 to 300 horsepower?

Just the subject is all.. I don't own one but I am rather curious as to how this would be realistically accomplished.

i think it would take a lot of money, i would think you would hav ro supercharge the engine with a klemann kit or something. if you wanted 300 hp, i would go with the safe route, and get an E500, it will be cheaper i believe, plus its cheaper. GL

I think the easiest way would be to take the E320 to your nearest MB dealer and enter the showroom. Talk with one of the salespersons about trading your E320 for a E500 or E55. If the deal is to your liking then you have your horsepower increase and no mechanical problems to worry about.

Spend a $1k-$2K and throw in a NX or TNT Nitrous Kit with 80 shot pill. I wonder if the bottom end can handle a 80-100HP shot spray.

Well, if we believe "the internet" then we get 50 hp from holding the ESP button down, that leaves us 29 shy----maybe if we hold down the rear headrest button, the ESP, and the W/S switch simultaneously we can coax it over 300!
