Dynomometer test function???
What is the dynamometer test function for under the settings menu? It's set to off now, but what happens if you turn it on? Any info would be appreciated.

it will disable SRS (Airbags), traction control I am not sure about ABS and your dash will light up w/all different warning symbols for those systems.

It's under the settings menu on your dashboard. If you press the reset button on your dash 3 times, it'll bring you to a different menu. Under this function, you can reset your service due, if you had the oil changed not at a dealership. But the dynamometer test function is under the system menu. If it does what the guy above said it would do, I'm not touching it.

That's a function within the workshop function and used by techs to preform the ESP rolling test where the speed of the driven axle are mirrored on the non driven axle.
Simply do a cluster reset or visit a friendly dealer in the afternoon, after having a couple of beers and flour on your shirt and talk with a service adviser about doing the reset--he will no doubt be happy to help and quickly get you off the lot!!
