Okay follow lovers of all things Mercedes, I would like some feedback. I am going to purchase another used Mercedes for moi (meine Frau own a 2004 C230K). I am looking at a 2003 E500 with 162K miles for $7998.00 The only reason that I am looking at vis kar, is that is has been very well maintained at the Von Housen Group of Mercedes dealers here in the Sacramento CA area. All the A and B scheduled maintenance has been done as well as parts that needed to be replaced (brakes, rotors, ac receiver/dyer, blower motor, front struts, etc). I am a tad concerned that it is a 2003 and has the air adjustable suspension, V8 etc. The kar is silver with a black leather interior both is very good condition taking into account the mileage and age. Can you W211 owners let me know what you think? I would appreciate it.

I own a 2003 E320 W211. It has 103k miles, I bought it last year in October, so I've had it for 3 months, it had 98k miles when I bought it, I paid $7,500. mine is a V6 with no air ride suspension, I bought it from a lady, one owner, car fax was great, all maintenance records done in the dealer, car is in mint condition, a couple of MB mechanics have told me this car this year is a great car, you can not go wrong with this car, I'm actually glad that mine dose not come with the air ride suspension, don't get me wrong it's a nice extra to have but also remember it's something more that when it goes bad it will cost a few $$$$ to repair.
The one you are planing to buy has a lot more miles than mine but if it has been very well maintained like you say you should be fine,it really is a nice car and runs very nice.
