My headlights are terrible

My headlights look great when i'm looking at them, but when behind the wheel they look dim, & don't seem to be aimed properly.

The lens are clear so i'm thinking it's the blubs themselves.

Without going through the time & expense of purchasing an HID conversion kit what are my best options?

I had the same issue. Installed these yesterday on my 07 E350. Much brighter than the bulbs I removed. FYI - Driver side was a pain to install.

Agreed! I was VERY disappointed when I drove for the first time at night. I plan on changing out the bulbs to see if that helps.

I would like something as close to HID's without actually having to do a conversion. Any thoughts?

I'm also wondering why they are aimed so poorly, as far as I know they aren't self adjusting. Or are they? My BMW with Slyvania pure white halogens light the roadway much better than the Benz.

Can't you just manually readjust it and aim it lower if it's too high? If HID's are too costly, have you considered those h7 LED bulbs? I have no idea how well they work but it could be worth a try.

I'm not quite sure how to adjust them. I haven't tried any different bulbs yet. I'm trying to get the best options.

The only ones that worked were the Sylvania Star Bright I think was the brand. Otherwise just expect subpar low beams.

I agree, the lights on my wifes E350 are terrible! I've been researching around to see what the best way to go about putting in Xenon bulbs into the projector. From what i've read the halogen projector and the xenon projector that MB used have the same optics.
