esp and abs malfunction

So far so good, I wasto hamy auto in montreal, good guy
The computer said it’sthe the speed sensor rear left don’t give signal,
So it’s the sensor orthe gear inside broken, the guy told meit’s the gear inside, something 20 $, but 3h labour, somebody know how toverify the speed sensor if is ok or not? I have also fault give by the brakehydraulic unit, warranty 10years. My car 10years and 6 month old…I’m worryabout the brake hydraulic unit, it’s possible to have ABS and ESP malfunctionif this unit is not correct?

84 300d 2009 e320 bluetec (retired)/, now 2012 E350 4-matic blueefficiency automatic
The voltage on my battery is 11.2, date on the top of the battery is 0311,so the small battery is from... 2003, original battery on my car , I change thebattery (the small one) but nothing change on the dash, ABS, ESP light is on,also the ABS yellow light is on, and the check engine on (code P0500). I call the dealer Mercedes Brossard they told me it's take al minimum 2 hoursto verify the problem, it's the first time when I call Mercedes Brossard (southshore of Montréal) before I fix my car on Mercedes Blainville (north shore of Montréal,very good service there), finally I will be at my old dealer maybe on Friday tofix the problem
How much did the dealer charge for the STAR diagnosis? Newer ones should pin point the defective part.
