I don't know if this answer would help. I will be receiving my DAS in a day or two. I will need a few days to get my feet wet with this, but based on what I read HERE it is not that difficult to do. If you are brave enough, you can bring some beer and we can get it done

I am not far from you GSPW exit 140 (to meke it sound like a true Jersey address. If you can't find anyone closer I'll be glad to help you out. Was this your parent's car that has been passed on to you?

Hahhaha that' just reminded me of something hilarious: I'm 18 and all of my car club and car meet friends are 28+, so when we were organizing a local MBWorld forum meet, one of the guys accidentally texted me "going to have some beer with your mom" when he meant to send it to his son. Needless to say I was angry at first and he laughed for quite a good while. You're lucky someone like 65aircooled lives in your area man, I can't find ANYONE to do lowering via STAR.

Thanks everyone'! I'll definitely post some pics when I finally find a shop that'll do it. Some places around me say they can do it but have only done it like once before so I'm not reallly too comfortable having my car be a test lol. I just wish that I could just take it to the dealer and have a tech just do it and do it right the first time.

That's the main issue I've run into: dealerships won't do it for liability reasons not even as a cash transaction. It's against most of their policies and it's hard to find someone both experienced and willing in certain places.
