The other thing i saw was that I have a AUX input cable in the glovebox with iphone 4 end on it.is that the only aux option or theres more somewhere and i just can't find them?
Can i conect the bluetooth somehow so I can play music from my phone over Bluetooth?
I figured someone here will be of big help and save me the trip to the dealer and 200$ LOL THANKS!
Call http://www.wireless4mb.com/ for expert info. They supply all the OEM stuff to dealers that connects to the prewiring in the console.

The rocket looking thing is called a bluetooth puck and it works only for phone calls, no music streaming.
If it is on, both blue lights on the top on either side of the mb logo button should light up. To pair your phone, you need to turn your phone's BT on and press/hold the MB logo button on the top of the puck until a steady blue light on the puck lights up. Your iphone will recognize the BT and will ask you for a password which is MBUSA or 62872. Enter the code and it will pair/connect every time your car turns on.
My wife has an iphone 5S which works fine and I had an iPhone 4s which also worked fine. Three days ago I changed my phone to a new Galaxy note 3 and now I am having connectivity problems (it pairs but does not connect) that may be related to the phone itself.
For music playing from your iphone or any MP3 player you options are few and scarce. You can use the aux port in the glove box or you can buy and install an ipod adapter from MB (they are cheaper on ebay) or you go with a third party one which I have but audio is not that great and gets a lot of static noise.
Let me know if you have anymore questions, you can PM me anytime. '
Where in Joisey are you located, which exit? (lol)

btw, i have bluetooth puck in 2 of my MBs...and people tell me it sounds terrible, like i'm in a box. not sure about others, but i think it's not worth paying up for the MB "puck" as there are many other after mkt systems that are better quality.

Sounds like you also have a factory 30-pin iPod connection in the glove box too. Would something like this work to stream? That or get an old ipod and leave in there.

There are several replacement units that have the factory look, do a search here and you'll find it. A lot of the wiring for the Comand is fiber-optics so you can't just cut and splice. When you said AUX I thought you meant the 3.5 mm audio jack that you have in the glove box. Why don't you buy the 30 pin to lighting adapter for the iphone 5?

You could buy a bluetooth device LIKE THIS ONE to hook up to your existing ipod cable, assuming it is the original MB adaptor, and stream your music to the car that way. The downside to that would be not being able to connect your phone to that and the puck at the same time so your phone will possibly not switch between devices automatically.
The 3.5 mm aux audio is mounted on the top edge of the glove compartment, hard to see but is there, I think the 2008 was the only one that came with out it on the w211.
By the way, if you connect your iPhone to the factory MB puck and use google maps or Maps from your iPhone for navigation, IT WILL stream the audio to the comand but no dice on the music. That's why I use the audio jack of that.
This is where the audio jack is located
