Wood/Leather Steering Wheel: Suspend Order
I went to order the Black Maple Wood/Leather Steering wheel today at the dealer and the parts dept advise this item shows "Suspend Order" and none in stock. Does anyone have the scoop? Thanks.

I think he means it is not orderable in Netstar. I thought this was the case since early Sept. I think mallard is one of the lucky ones that was able to order wood wheel with appearance package..

I had thought he was trying to order one for after delivery installation.
He should still look around and see if anyone has one in stock so he can have it installed.
Last time (first of the year) that the wood wheels went in short supply it took a long time before they became available again.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to call some local dealer tomorrow. If anyone knows a dealer who has some supplies of the black maple/stone steering wheel....please let me know. I finally received my VIN number (still not on the boat) and I'm ready to order the steering wheel.

Lionhead, my car is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. So far my dealer hasn't said anything about not being able to install the leather/wood wheel. It is going to be Black Maple and Stone. I'll let you know tomorrow.

If the have some in stock when you're at the dealer tomorrow, please email me the dealer and phone number (e500sport@comcast.net) and I'll give them a call. If it's too much of a hassle...no problem, I'll continue to search or just wait for availability.

I'll be happy to findout from my dealer tomorrow. I'm excited about the delivery! I've been waiting for 2 months (seems like 2 years though) for this car to materialize. It was supposed to arrive yesterday, then today, and now the truck carrying the car is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed!

My salesrep just called to tell me that the special order they had placed for Black Maple/Stone wheel came back with Burlwood/Stone wheel
He did confirm that the Black Maple/Stone wheel is on backorder but couldn't give me an ETA.

I finally found one! 
My dealer checked the system and showed 3 dealers in the U.S. who had them in stock. 1 in Texas (in which I bought), 2 in Florida and 1 in California.
