what do you think about new rims?
hello guys, i have purchased new wheels but they either seem small or the tyres are a bit thick as they are 225/55/16r, i dont know what are your thoughts or ideas?
they cost me about $300 it was a bargain but i think they are smaller than i thought,,,,,?

They do look really small actually, I run a 255/35/18 tire all around but I guess for a 225 tire a 55-series sidewall is about right. I mean I don't think there's much you can change on that size of wheel, but that wheel seems to small in both diameter and width for that car.

You have a different style wheel with a larger opening close to the tire...it's an optical illusion. IIRC the tire size you have is correct for the stock wheels.

I know 03-06's came with 16s stock. 07-09 luxury model came with 17s stock. The great thing about having small wheels are that they ride amazingly comfortable and are great to use during the winter for snow. If you're thinking of swapping for a bigger size, 19's are probably the best size to go with.

On the W211, 19s look the best IMO for most styles of wheels I agree there Lemon. However, they're much more likely to bend if you're running a thinner sidewall like I am and they are not forged.
