E55 Amg brakes on E350?

you just need to drilled 2mm to let E55 fit, other than that everything will be fine,,
*I have used E55 front calipers, and used E55 rear Rotors if interested..

ZAYED,,
To answer your question quick - in my experience, it's not a direct bolt on.
Be sure your wheels have the caliper clearance.

Love it. Looks so much nicer than the sport brakes, and the car stops very very well.
They are insanely massive too. It makes the sport brakes and my brembos on my STi look like freaking baby brakes...

If you have sport package there is enough wheel clearance. However I had to upgrade my wheels...by choice on all my vehicles lol. I got problems. Lol

Does anyone know if all these same details apply to the 2008 E350 4Matic Sport?
Can anyone explain why the 4Matic version doesn’t come with the same 4Pot calipers as the regular sport?
If no difference other than the caliper, I might be interested in grabbing some of the regular sport 4Pots off someone who changed to AMGs.
Thanks!

I was going to ask if the AMG spindle has any other differences other than the larger mounting point like if it was also lighter. For those that are able to use these upgrades, any reduction in unsprung weight is a great thing.
i too wondered why the 4matics got the sliding front calipers, and not 4pots...i would imagine a heavy wagon would need more braking power albeit the stopping power on my S211 seems pretty adequate. i just don't like how the calipers look

.But just in case, are the AMG rear brakes compatible with 4Matic or is it also a completely differernt setup? I probably wouldn't do this unless I was going to upgrade the front with an aftermarket Brembo equvalent but just good to know.
For this car, I saw that Goodridge makes a set of SS lines so I'll probably grab those, change the fluid and just stick with the Brembo or Zimmerman OEM replacement rotors and pads next time they need to be serviced and call it a day. Though my digging, it doesn't look like there are many other quality rotor or pad options for this car anyways.
