in either auto or at any fan speed the A/C only blows cold on the passenger side not the driver. its a 2005 e320 standard unit not the digital. any body else have this problem ?? does the head unit need replaced ??

 

I believe this is a fairly common problem on the W211s. It's the heater valve. It's a $45 part, but it's a few hours of labor. Someone once posted a tutorial on how to change it.
