Stepping Up To The Plate....
Hello to all.... I've been visiting here for a while now and have picked-up alot of great advise and info, thanks too all.... Well, After working my *** off (my ol lady too) we're finally stepping up to the plate and we've ordered an e500.... We actually ordered it about 6 weeks ago (build date 11-24 and have vin number in hand) and its on the boat now.... I hope to have this under my *** in a few weeks. We decided on brilliant silver with charcol interior and the appearance and premium pkgs. I've been reading a little bad press here and there about some little glitches with this model, but in NO WAY is this going to scare me away.... This is a car I've dreamed for, worked my *** off for (and will be for the next five years), but nothing says you've made it better than a mercedes hand down....... Again, just wanted to say hi.... B.T.W... Got it for a $1000.00 over invoice.... A good deal???? Hell I don't know. What I do know is there are alot of hard nose, stuck-up dealers out there, but finally found one that liked Harley Davidsons

Congratulations on your order. You should be seeing it soon.
You won't have any regrets. Remember that most of the whining and sniveling here is done by car nuts who want it all perfect.
That is why we are on this forum.
The W211 is a great car and, in my opinion, has no more, or less, problems than any car.

Congratulations on your order! You are right about the little glitches discussed on the forum but then again it's the only place you will find someone to listen and offer an opinion. That's what makes this forum great. I believe the majority of us like our Es very much and will have it no other way. You will find the E500 to be an amazing car. I have had mine for four months and still admire it just like I did on delivery day. Don't hesitate to ask questions as there is always someone around with very informative insight.
