2005 E500 w/AMG Sport Package, not starting anymore after stalling while driving
I am new to the forum, so I am hoping this is in the current area.
I bought my wife a 2005 E500, with AMG Sport Package and one day it stalled while she was driving on the freeway.
So far I have replaced the CPS, I have checked the Fuel Pump Relay, which seems fine. I can hear it click and I tested the voltage from the fuse to the relay connector on both sides of the relay. I am getting 10.7 volts on both sides.
Probably the battery is low from trying to start it for the last few days.
Does anyone have any idea's what the problem could be?
I have not tested the fuel rail pressure yet, but I could smell gas a little after trying to start it, but I cannot hear the fuel pump at all.
Thanks,
Curtis

A fully charged battery that only shows 10.7 volts without cranking the engine is way too low to start. If you fall below 11.0 V with starter engaged you will have difficulty starting.
