Can I install Bluetooth?

FInally gotten to digging into the console. BTW, after reading other threads, you dont "just" pull up on the finger hole, use a flat screwdriver to lightly press the tabs and the cover comes up effortlessly. On to my real point, I don't see any "free" connections for adding BT. Maybe some veterans can help me here?

Thanks!!

I was wondering the same thing on my 03 E320, after some digging around and a crappy video on youtube I found my answer. In the top part of your arm rest there are two Torx screws that need to be taken out, then open the large compartment there are another set of two torx screws that need to be undone from the part that lift up, the bluetooth connector is in there. You took the plate out of the large compartment, the "hidden floor" is in the small compartment on top.

If you want I can send you photos of mine.

No, problem. Once you take out the torx screws then you gently lift up the floor and there is where you can connect your bluetooth device such as a Puck and Tail or other device. I uploaded the photos in the order to take them out...on a side note its a bit of a pain to get the floor back on due to the wires getting in the way. I didn't take my floor out for that reason.

From ViseeO's website neither the MB-4 or MBU-3000 are able to stream audio through bluetooth, but there is the ViseeO Tune2Air, if you have an ipod/android connector...

heres where it gets a bit tricky mate, I use the viseeo for calls, and I use a wireless fm modulater that connects to my iphone so I can play it on my HU. its not perfect but it works and for under AU$10. I have the AUX control on my HU but I dont have the AUX female adapter on my glove box.

Maybe going aftermarket would be the way to go to fit your needs, but that tends to get expensive as the factory stereo amplifiers would need to be bypassed and new wiring run. I went pricing yesterday for an aftermarket stereo complete with Alpine DVD/Nav headunit, replacing all the speakers and a sub...estimate came out to nearly $4000 USD!!

I did OEM in my old CLK for about $600 in 2-2-1/2 hours. I posted HERE where you should find numerous links and most important contact info for cellguy85 who can provide the parts and assistance.

Or you can add an aftermarket BT, via aux in, this will be a lot less expensive, and probably will give you more features, unless you care about your radio displaying info of the phone call.

I'm gonna do this, in a few days when i upgrade my audio system, and i'll use
Kinivo BTC455 Kinivo BTC455
, it's really small and can be hide anywhere, i'll put mine on the right bottom of the cluster in front of the temp symbol, and hard wire the power connector to a line that only get power when the car is on.

^I dont have the "Aux in" female plug on the glove box but I do have the option "aux" on my HU. would anybody know if I can get a cable to plug at the back of my HU so I can use my aux feature. part number for the cable would be great or any after market cable.

I have a question for those who use the ViseeO Tune2Air product or something similar that plugs into your 30-pin connector. http://www.viseeostore.com/products/...000-green.html

Are you limited to searching for music via the HU once you use the Tune2Air product? Or, can you also open the Music app on your iPhone and search and play music using that?

Essentially, I do not want to the the HU to navigate music. It's painful and unintuitive. A few taps on my iPhone is much quicker.
