Just back from Germany
Anyone posting from Europe know if the Sweedish made mats now have a right front passenger mat that fits perfectly on the 4Matic with its slightly altered floor design?

Called my dealer today. "Gummimats" are available for the 4Matic in Stone and Anthrasit color. The price her in Norway is USD 100 for a set of 5 mats. You have to buy a "normal" set for the W211 + the extra mat for the 4Matic. Not possible to buy just the single mat. So now you know.....
Many thanks for the pictures.
I showed them to my wife and she replied with great enthusiam ... " let's do it too....European delivery for the next car"
Good luck
After the gummi mat photos the first photo is of the dessert buffet provided at Hotel Mueller on New Year's Eve as discussed in the original post. It is followed by four photos from the Mercedes offered hotel (Schlosshotel Buhlerhohe) near Baden-Baden. (We learned later it was once the summer palace of the Kaiser.) Included photos are of the hotel itself, sculptures on the grounds, and its swimming pool/spa.
Those are followed by another photo of the car we picked up parked in front of the Kundencenter (European Delivery Center) in Sindelfingen.
The final photo includes yours truly holding the door with another of the kids in the foreground entering the lobby of the Mercedes offered hotel (Bayerischer Hof) in Munich. (Note the streetcar just outside the entrance and the rotating door that looks like it was borrowed by Jackie Chan for his rotating door stunt in Shanghai Knights. [Actually the hotel used by Chan for the stunt was another European hotel of the same vintage.]) This hotel (Bayerischer Hof) is a favorite of Michael Jackson and was home to the Beattles when they toured in Munich.
Both the Bayerischer Hof in Munich and the Scholosshotel near Baden-Baden are offered either separately or as part of the Black Forest Alps Rally tour by the Mercedes European Delivery Program.

I dont know this but it looks like one of the photo's you took of Neuschwanstein has become one of the most emailed photos
by the AFP (it's on the yahoo site - most emailed photos).
Also I just learned if you want to email or save a copy of the photo for your own use or as a screensaver all you have to do is give the computer a little time and position the curser on the photo. After a while the email/print, etc. option pops up in a little box on the photo itself.

Anyone know if these are mutually exclusive?
To precise the article: The nano clear coat is used in the Sindelfingen plant first, starting January 2004. The first modells are the E, S , CL, SL and SLK. During Q1 Mercedes introduces the nano clear coat in the other production plants (Bremen C, CLK ; Sindelfingen C and Raststatt A). Currently Mercedes uses a ceramic clear coat in the Sindelfingen production plant, but not for all cars. This clear coat can be detected by the letter 'C' in front of the color code. Nano and ceramic clear coat can not be mixed with traditional clear coat. Therefore these clear coat are marked in the color code.
(The Mercedes acquired on European Delivery are the 1977 240D, 1981 300SD, 2003 500SL and the 2004 E320 4Matic subject of this thread.)
