2004 E320 questions

Does the car come stock with Xenon lights? I dont want to buy the lighting package just to get bi xenon instead of regular xenon. As long as the normal headlights are blue then I'll be happy. Is the lighting package really worth it?

The standard headlamps are halogen. Just get the lighting package that way you get the bi xenon with the active cornering.

the regular lights have a slight blue tint on the outer edges..but like the upgrade. i use my fogs most of the time because i think the standard headlights should be a little brighter.

And also why is it an extra $1200 for the leather seats? Whats the difference between that and the leather inserts? And for my final question whats the difference between black and obsidian black? I see black benz's all the time that look all shiny and glossy and that color is BEAUTIFUL. I thought it was obsidian black but someone told me obsidian black has green in it or some **** like that. Can someone clarify this for me?

spubar, the best thing is for you to go to www.mbusa.com and check out the new E-class there. they have tons of info. 1200 is extra for real leather, and not the insert. the inserts arent all real leather. i say pay the extra 1200 and get the real thing. black is not a metallic color, and obs black is. on a e320 its extra for the obs black. there is also no green in the obs black. i think black is shinier, but its a lot easier to scratch, GL with your purchase

well i have obsidian black, which is real black with the flakes in it. Regular black isnt metallic, so its softer, but its a deeper and more richer black. its really hard to know the difference unless they are side by side to eachother. if your gonna get leather, and the metallic paint, i say for for the E500, and enjoy everything it comes with. I cant afford the E500. I've decided to get obsidian black, I think that might be the glossier one. Anyone know where I can get invoice pricing on the options so I can lowball the dealer?

not much "lowballing" going on in NY, you need to go to california to get really good prices.

Incorrect. The Leather Inserts ARE real leather, the surrounding area OUTSIDE of the leather inserts are NOT real leather.
